Q: Who issues tax receipts?
A: Receipts are issued by the Ottawa Regional Cancer Foundation. All donations of $10.00 or more will be receipted

Q: What is the registration deadline?
A: Registration will close 2 days prior to race day.

Q. What are your accepted methods of payment?
A. We accept cheques by mail.

Q: I am a past Quest for a Cure volunteer, do I have to create a user profile?
A: All participants must create a user profile when registering.

Q: Will I be able to work at the same checkpoint as my friend?
A: Yes! Volunteers wishing to work together will be assigned to the same task/location.

Q: What facilities are available at checkpoints?
A: Checkpoints range from indoors with full washroom and kitchen facilities to wilderness campsites. Volunteers will be asked before being assigned to a checkpoint with limited facilities.

Q: How long are volunteer shifts?
A: Due to large geographic area covered by the race, we ask volunteers to commit to 6 hour minimum shifts

Q: I am under 18, can I volunteer?
A: Volunteers may be under 18 as long as they are accompanied by a supervising adult for the entire time they are out on course. High school volunteer credits can be earned in this manner.

Q: When will I be given the location of my checkpoint?
A: The race course is kept secret up until race day. Volunteers will be given the location of their checkpoint by the volunteer coordinators on race day.

Q: Can I race as a single?
A: For your safety, all teams must consist of at least 2 racers

Q: I am a past Quest for a Cure racer, do I have to create a user profile?
A: Yes, all participants must create a user profile when registering. The person who registers his race team will be assigned the role of Team Captain. The Team Captain will have access to an administration area where he can update and modify his team's profile, his contact information, and his racers' information.

Q: Can we rotate our support crew members
A: Teams may rotate their support crews. Every support person must sign in at the race operations centre before meeting up with their team on the course. Only two persons can assist teams while in transition areas.

Q: I am under 18, can I participate as a racer?
A: No. All racers must be at least 18 years of age.
